Teeth grinding at kid

I just recognise that my little girl grinds her teeth at night when she is sleeping. I know I used to do it when I was a kid too and everybody I know, they also grind their teeth when they are sleeping at times. So, is it normal? is it unimportant? what causes it? will it become a bad habit in life?

Well, I take these questions to ask my friend, a dentist, he said most of kids will grow out of this and it is a common thing. I was in a matrix of information when I searched in google about “teeth grinding”. Yes, people said that you grind your teeth while you are sleeping because you have crooked teeth, sleep disorder, stress… and it’s not harmful but grinding teeth for a long time can damage your teeth, headache or sore jaw when you wake up. So what about my little girl? I can’t see anything of these information related to my little girl’s circumstance.

Then I came across the WedMD website and they gave me some tips on stop teeth grinding and it makes senses to me. You can find more information on this link http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/guide/teeth-grinding-bruxism

Anyway, what I have done to stop my little girl grinding her teeth while she is sleeping is:

* My little girl always loves a little trick after dinner and chocolate is her favourite. So I cut off caffeine on food before she goes to bed.

*Before bed time I ask her to do some relaxing activities such as: drawing, colouring or reading books. Instead of just letting her do whatever she wants… run around and play with hola hoop.

Guess what, it works! My little girl hasn’t been grinding her teeth at all for a week since I applied this tips on her. What an amazing result! That’s why I want to share with all mums about this. Even though grinding teeth is a small thing but it’s very annoying.

P/S the tips above may not work with you or your kids, please seek advices from your dentist for specific cases.

Eucalyptus Oil and Floor Cleaner

I am a eucalyptus lover. I love using eucalyptus oil in my washing in the last rinse to have a perfect fragrant remaining on the clothes. I rub eucalyptus oil to my back and my chest when I get a cold. And I love to pour eucalyptus oil on the floor when I mop it. It’s a perfect floor cleaner I have ever known. It leaves the floor with 100% clean and beautiful fragrant around the house.

If you have kid playing on the floor around the house, I would recommend using eucalyptus oil as a floor cleaner for your best choice. Firstly, it’s 100% natural and will not have any allergies to the skin. It will kill germs and bacteria on the floor and keep the hygiene for your house.

After vacuum the house, I pour 2 capfuls of eucalyptus oil in big area (living room) and 1 capful in small are (bedroom). Then I use the steam mop to go over the oil first then continuing mop the remaining area. The whole house will exude a pleasant aroma and your feet will feel so clean walking on the floor. If you use a normal floor mop, just mix 2 capfuls of eucalyptus oil into water and mop normally.

There are many brands made eucalyptus oil but I think Thursday Plantation is the best one. It’s made with 100% pure eucalyptus.

Windex and Granite Cleaner

As you know that Windex is popular for cleaning window and mirrors. To be honestly it is doing really good job for those purposes and I am totally happy with this product. But there is another useful purpose of this product is cleaning and polish granite.

I discovered this tip by chance when my “spray & wipe” ran out and I had nothing to clean my granite kitchen bench. Then I grasped Windex to clean instead, but the result was far beyond my imagination. The granite was so clean and shining that I have never got this beautiful finish before when I used other special cleaners for granite.

Windex is the best cleaner and polish for granite ever. I would recommend this to everybody who has granite using around the house.

Baby Oil and Polish Stainless Steel

Everyone knows about baby oil and all mums have this bottle in the bath basket to use for their children. I use baby oil not for massage my daughter (because her skin is allergy with this product), but for polish stainless steel products in the house. I always do this with my oven, microwave and fridge. And it works really well.

After I clean all the dust and greases on the oven by multi purpose spray. I pour a little bit baby oil on a soft cloth and wipe the surface of the oven. In a second, the oven just looks as it’s new. The baby oil will keep the fingertip away from the oven too and the look will stay for couple weeks. This one will beat all the special products for polish stainless steel.

Let spread the tips and we are all good housewives.
